WHO WE ARE
Many people ask where the name "UNCAPAFEW" comes from.
It was born out of tradition. Tradition is important to me. I came from a German family, which is full of tradition. Then I attended Texas A&M, where many of you know, is all about tradition. My father was an avid hunter who loved to fish. When I was young, he had a boat named Uncapafew. When I asked him why he named it that, he replied in typical German fashion, "you can't go fishing all day unless you uncapafew." My father died in 2012. In 2016 our family partnership, started by my father, bought a ranch in south Texas. My children and I decided to name the ranch Uncapafew in his honor. After a great day of hunting, we sit around the campfire and uncapafew. I know most hunters and fishermen like to do the same. So, while you're fishing or after hunting, raise a cold one in a toast to my dad. His name was Rudy Seidel. May the tradition live on.
